The RAM usage scan tool is run on a target system to determine where RAM is being used in the system. It does so by processing the information found in the /proc filesystem.
It is intended for helping to optimize XIP Linux systems by giving the designer a snapshot of where RAM is being used so that it can be determined how much XIP can help.
